A Beginner's Guide to AI-Powered App Development

Welcome to Soloron! This guide is designed for anyone who wants to create and manage applications without needing to write code. Soloron uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to do the heavy lifting for you.

1. Getting Started

Soloron consists of a Control Panel (where you interact with the app) and a Worker (which performs the actual tasks).

  • Domain & DNS: It is essential to own a domain and be able to set a new DNS setting as an A record according to Soloron instructions.

  • Claude AI API Key: It is essential to create a Claude AI API key from the Anthropic Console. Anthropic Console.

  • Accessing Soloron: Open your web browser and navigate to the address provided by your administrator (e.g., http://your-server-ip:3000).

  • Initial Setup: Ensure your AI settings are configured. Soloron uses Claude (by Anthropic) to understand and execute your requests.

2. Creating Your First Job

Think of a "Job" as a single task you want the AI to perform (e.g., "Add a contact form to my website").

  1. New Job: Click on "New Job" in the dashboard.

  2. Title: Give your task a short, descriptive name.

  3. Description: Explain what you want to achieve in plain English. Be as specific as possible.

Example: "Add a blue button at the bottom of the home page that says 'Contact Us' and opens a popup form."

  4. Submit: Click the submit button, and Soloron's AI will begin analyzing your request.

3. Monitoring Progress

You can see all your active and past jobs in the Job Dashboard.

Pending

The job is waiting for the AI.

Processing

The AI is currently writing code or making changes.

Completed

The task is finished!

Failed

Something went wrong (usually explained in the logs).

4. Reviewing Changes

Soloron will show you what it has done. You can review the changes and provide feedback if something isn't exactly how you wanted it.

5. Tips for Success

(No Coding Required!)

Be Clear

The AI is smart, but it can't read your mind. Use simple, direct sentences.

One Task at a Time

Instead of asking for a whole website at once, ask for one feature at a time.

Use Examples

If you like a certain style, describe it (e.g., "Make it look modern like Apple's website").

6. Troubleshooting

  • If the AI status says "OFFLINE", check if your AI API keys are correctly entered in the settings.
  • If a job fails, read the log messages; they often provide a hint about what's missing (like a missing description).
